What We Do

The process of embroidery produces outstanding results and is at the ‘sharp end’ of corporate identity. We recreate personalised artwork into a unique, raised thread, embroidered design. Our typical lead time is 5 – 7 working days. A premium service is available for emergency orders.

We achieve this using state of the art computer controlled ‘Happy’ stitching machines. Our machines are operated by highly experience staff and we ensure that the quality of our embroidery is constantly of the highest standard. Your artwork is scanned into our computer and then recreated in actual stitches on screen. This is a highly skilled job and each design is meticulously created using the latest embroidery software.

We price embroidery by the stitch count, the bigger the design the greater the amount of stitches. The ideal size for an embroidered design is typically found on the left breast of a shirt, larger designs can be produced upto a maximum of 280mm x 280mm. To check whether your artwork is suitable, please contact a member of staff.

This is a process of using coloured inks to screen your artwork onto any item that you choose. Stitches can create a near perfect representation of the artwork that you supply.

We can screen onto a multitude of items. One screen is made for each colour in the supplied artwork. The more colours that you incorporate into your artwork the more screens you will require. Screen-printing is priced by the number of colours in the design (usually up to six). This process is ideal for large product runs.

Various applications for screen printing include: Posters, stickers, banners, exhibition panels, ring binders, mouse mats, site boards, signs and T-Shirts to name but a few. Artwork for screen-printing can be produced in many different ways. If you are unsure whether this process will work with your artwork, please contact a member of staff.

Your personalised artwork is cut from vinyl and then heat pressed onto a multitude of items. We have a huge selection of vinyl colours available.

This process involves using a heat press machine to apply coloured vinyl that is cut to the desired shape. The shape of your artwork is cut out by a plotter / cutting machine. This process is ideally suited to designs that consist of lettering and simple geometric shapes. Complex detail and intricate shapes cannot be reproduced effectively.

After cutting, the excess vinyl is removed and then each item is placed on the heat press machine. The design is positioned by hand and each item is pressed individually. This is a time consuming and highly skilled process that is best suited for low quantity orders.

Stitches of Bridgnorth was established in 1991 as a family run business. Stitches now produce over 8,000 garments per week. We are big enough to cope yet small enough to care!

Stitches commenced trading predominantly wholesaling T-shirts. We were also wholesalers & retailers of the Fruit of the Loom brand. The company evolved by diversifying into screen printing onto T-shirts & sweatshirts.

In 1995 we branched into embroidery. We are now the largest embroidery company in Shropshire with highly experienced staff producing up to 7,000 garments per week. We wholesale leisurewear & workwear to companies large and small in the UK , abroad & to individuals. We now have a heat press / sign division which also enables us to produce promotional merchandising.

ABOUT US
For customers own logo’s there is a  one off set up charge for digitising artwork.

Once this is done, it does not need to be done again and is saved for any future orders.

We try our very best to deliver your garments within 5-7 working days after the order is taken.

If the customer requires a sample of the embroidery it is 5-7 working days from their approval of the sample.  We welcome you to email us at anytime whilst your order is pending to track the estimated delivery date. Stitches can offer a platinum service of 48 hours- please contact the office for a cost.

We will send you a proof to review and approve before we produce your order, unless it is a repeat order.

There are no minimum orders- we can produce one – 1000’s

We are very confident that our garments are of excellent quality and can meet all the customer requirements.

If you are not completely happy with the quality we will do our very best to correct the problem.

Each product comes with a size guide.  This is usually the relevant size chest (in inches) in relation to S,M,L.XL..etc.
